Local RE/MAX agents visit Hippotherapy barn for #MonthofMiracles

The month of August is Month of Miracles for RE/MAX agents around the country. This month agents from RE/MAX Preferred Associates and RE/MAX Unlimited Results Realty took time out of their busy schedules to see first hand what the money they fundraise goes towards.  They visited Timberwolff Stables, the barn that hosts Mercy Health – Children’s Hospital’s hippotherapy sessions.

Hippotherapy is the use of horseback riding as a therapeutic or rehabilitative treatment, especially as a means of improving coordination, balance, and strength. Our patients even work on speech therapy during their sessions. It is a great therapy that we are able to provide to pediatric patients in Northwest Ohio, thanks in part to Children’s Miracle Network fundraising dollars.

Tyler Lipinski, an agent with RE/MAX Preferred Associates, went through a typical hippotherapy treatment that a patient would receive.

On top of the RE/MAX Preferred Associates visiting the Hippotherapy Barn they are also holding a bandage drive for our Children’s Hospital! Many of the pediatric offices request fun bandages for their patients, if you are interested in donating some colorful, fun bandages you can drop them off until August 30th to the RE/MAX Preferred Associates office at 3306 Executive Pkwy, Toledo, OH 43606.
