Meet Miracle Agent Lyndsay
Lyndsay Lamb, is a RE/MAX Miracle Agent in Snohomish County, WA, and the mother of a young cancer survivor.
Her son, Miles, was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s lymphona when he was just eight years old. She noticed Miles was becoming more and more tired and had some cold symptoms. When he started having a hard time breathing Lyndsay brought him to a clinic where he was initially diagnosed with asthma. After several more doctor visits and an an X-ray, Miles was admitted to Seattle Children’s where the team quickly discovered the cancer. Miles went through seven weeks of treatment (including seven rounds of radiation) at Seattle Children’s Hospital.
Lyndsay has described the experience of Miles fighting cancer as one of the scariest times of her life, but she is deeply grateful for the care and support Miles and the entire family received from the staff at Seattle Children’s. She cited the family support, welcoming attitude and activities to entertain Miles as just a few of the things that impressed her about the hospital.
“They continued to wow us,” Lyndsay said of Seattle Children’s. “I could go on and on.”
Today Miles is cancer-free and is actively pursuing his passion of football, including cheering on his favorite NFL team, the Seattle Seahawks.
Once Lyndsay and her twin sister Leslie learned about the Miracle Agent program they knew they had to get on board.
“We want our clients to feel like they’re making a contribution to their community, and we feel our connection to CMN Hospitals makes this possible,” said Lyndsay.
