Footgolf and Bowling for the Kids, Oh My!
RE/MAX Property Specialists, of Pocono Lake, PA, sure does show their support for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. Over the past year, the companies’ associates hosted not one, but two events in honor of sick kids.
The first was an annual Footgolf tournament at Stone Meadows Golf Club in June. This fun-filled event is similar to golf; however, instead of clubs, you’re kicking a soccer ball toward a 21-inch hole. Winners were awarded and included Doc C. 1st, Eric C. 2nd, and Tammi R. 3rd. More than $300 was raised during the event – and there is more fun to come! The Footgolf tournament was such a success that RE/MAX Property Specialists is planning to hold their second-annual Footgolf event in the spring of 2018.
The second event was RE/MAX Property Specialists’ first-annual bowling tournament held in September. Monies raised at the event were matched by franchise owners Jeff and Heather Rickert, which came to a total of more than $300.
“We aspired to uphold the commitment that the RE/MAX brand has created over the past 25 years with Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, which is a great example to follow. Also, this is the community where our agents live and work, so it’s important to stand as leaders and make a positive impact here.”
All monies raised help fund life-saving treatment and care for local Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals’ member hospitals.
